Right now I feel free. I don't feel like I owe anybody anything! I have lost that floaty lovey feeling and it has been replaced with a have fun and then feel later feeling. I now realize how stupid I have been and will try to not repeat those mistakes. I learned that females are nothing but trouble and a waste of time at this point in my life and I need to keep my cool. I have a lot ahead of me and most of it promises to be good. I am starting to lose more weight, getting my broken teeth fixed later this week, and finding a job.I feel good!

These past few days...

So these past few days have sucked. I have been tired and haven't done a lot. I started working out again since I need to get in shape. Other than that I pretty much have had a bad week thanks to people not paying me back so I couldn't fly and haven't flown for almost a month now. I also am 120% sure I lost my friend but she's becoming a social butterfly and as long as she's happy. I hope to meet another person like her, she is awesome. I also met awesome people this week, none are pilots but they are still cool never the less!

Since I can't find a job I am going to make my own money this summer and in the end try to better myself. I don't know about if/where we're going to move but I guess I'll take it one day at a time. I have college next next winter or spring (still trying to decide), have to start saving up for my own place, and get my affairs in order.

For now white side up.
  I wish there was a time machine though, so many mistakes made!

My weekend :(

So this weekend sucked. I got food poisoning for 3, going on 4 days now and felt really sad this entire weekend. I feel sick!!! Also I'm pretty sure now that my friend has basically gotten tired of me and just blocked me outta their life. It sucks because I really valued them extremely high and they meant a lot to me :( . I also realized this weekend that I don't truly like Rika, I just am desperate for a gf! Sounds odd to be excited to have an epiphany that you are desperate but I feel better about my morals now that I realize our morals clash.

No flying for me :(

So on this wonderful Saturday morning about 10 people I know are going flying. I am not :( . I also just had to cancel my flight for tomorrow thanks to people not paying me back on time. Now I have to wait until next Sunday @ 6pm to go flying since that is the earliest opening. This sucks. Let's hope there is no convective activity that day either, especially since the worst air occurs around 4-6pm and that is also when a lot of storms form.

Homemade Banjo

      So my frenemy has now "fallen in love" with flying. -*Sigh*- She took an intro flight the day after my birthday and has since accumulated 7.4 hours in airplanes and a glider (A FUCKING GLIDER!) . She is one hell of a spoiled brat. Today she knocked on my door and came in, first thing she said was " Look!" She is a student pilot now :( (I HAVE YET TO GET MY STUDENT PILOT CERTIFICATE SINCE I JUST TURNED 16!) She almost has the same amount of time I have, but I know I am a better pilot. I pay attention to every nut and bolt and every degree of the exhaust gas; she barely pays attention while driving. I am working on Pre-solo stuff (slips,emergency procedures,landings,go-arounds,etc.) She is still on " The Four Fundamentals"... 

    I think I am beginning to like her now that she is flying. Sounds very wrong and shallow but hey, her mom is an engineer for Boeing and does freelance for Lockheed Martin, she wants to become an engineer too (doubt it will happen), and I just love flying and the people that fly. It may also be due to something that happened to me this month where my heart kinda got snapped like the wing ribs of a Piper J-3 Cub in a 7g maneuver...but I'll get over it soon enough. Either way today I scared myself when I saw her while she was playing her 3DS and I thought," She's kinda pretty." I keep doing this, I keep focusing on looks of the aircraft (person) instead of the pilot (the real person) inside. I personally don't particularly care too much for boobs or "ass" but I LOVE, and I mean LOVE eyes. (Maybe its because mine are dull and lifeless?) I also love noses and their shape (prob cuz mine is huge and bell pepperish) and the color and shape of lips. Her's are nice and pink but ANYWAYS before I drool, THIS is the problem. For now I just gotta remember that there is better out there and that I might get lucky one day. I just want to be a normal teen though but I am anything but average so I guess it just comes with the territory.

This week is flying week! Plenty of airchair flying this past weekend, time to do the real thing! 3 flights in 7 days :D Let's hope I dont have an issue pop up. N89464 is on my blacklist, lost 12 cowling screws,sputtered, & buffets weirdly!

Not to mention I still need to take the GED and that could be up to a year away thanks to the waiting list! Quick post up here to remind me of what various events transpired this weekend. What a Flight!


       So today I flew in N89464 and had to practice judgement. Took off with storms coming up our back door and when we got into the clear we were going to practice but the engine sputtered and shook violently and we decided to turn around and try to get back to Freeway. The weather wasn't as bad as forecast and as shown on radar so the only real reason to not practice landings and go-arounds was the engine. We flew in light chop and rain at about 1400MSL and landed without incident. The landing was typical of crosswinds;the wind kept trying to make us look bad by blowing us every which way possible. In flight I did very well with the controls and rudder and was smooth on the yoke. I was calm the entire time as well because I kind of wanted to see a real emergency landing in a field. There were plenty of choices for landing including two near by airstrips. Had a fun flight and I will be flying again on June 5th at 8 am!

Midday Update

GREAT day so far. Woke up early this morning to go get donuts thanks to Tiffany! She reminded me of their chocolatey goodness and when I got there at 7am they were out of double chocolate AND chocolate glazed (They actually only had jelly filled and bagels). So I bus fanned around Baltimore Ave. and walked from near IKEA down to UMCP and got some videos there. Got back on the bus and went to greenbelt. While on the bus this girl asked what I was taking a picture of ( I was filming the ride of course). So I told her what I was doing and she asked why, to which I replied with, "I don't know, I just love the sound of them and the way they drive and lean." She responded by saying, " Oh that's cool. It's like how people like fast cars and stuff then right?" I was sooooooo happy somebody else thought that and didn't think it is weird! So I told her "Yes but everybody thinks it's weird because it's 'just' a bus." She and I talked about random crap and we were going down paint branch and almost at College Park Metro when she said "Do you have a phone? Want my number,you can text me?" I said "UHHHHHhhhhhh OH yes I have a phone!" Got my phone out and took the number down :D Guess I dressed correctly! Wore my black jeans, black dockers, had a Black thin stripe (vertical) button down shirt, black and silver Polo watch, and a nice necklace on XD

Not much going on this morning. Sat in bed for a few hours thinking about someone and looked up, saw it was  6 am!

Online watching Fox News and noticed that Fox News chicks all look like expensive hookers. Especially the Korean ones that always seem to wear high heels and a mini skirt. Anyways Relaxed for most of the day, my friend's best friend is visiting UMCP and needed a place to stay so she's here and is very quiet. She sounded white on the phone but as my luck turned out she's *drum roll please* ASIAN! Which is ironic... Anyways shes going back Saturday morning.

4/21/2011 Flight

Last month on the 21st I went to the airport on an extremely windy day for another lesson.
 The weather was broken @ 6500 and winds at 23kts SSW/NE with gusts to 40kts. Because we're in the SFRA we fly at 1000ft MSL outbound, climbing to 1,500ft MSL about 15nm out. Final practice altitude at DEALE is 2000ft MSL and we are over water. So this day the only weather concern was the wind. The Cessna 172 has a max demonstrated X-wind component of around 16kts. The runway at W00 is oriented to 360 and 180 degree headings. This causes a crosswind that dangerously can shift direction and is not a headwind or tailwind. My instructor and I agreed to wait it out a bit and pre-flight in the meantime. We waited about 30 min and when the winds were gusting into the 20's we took off.

     Flying out to DEALE we were getting 130-145 kts true with cruise power! (That was one hell of a tailwind :D ) Upon reaching the practice area and at 2000ft MSL we set up for some slow flight and stalls. We worked on using the rudder for breaking stalls and resisting the urge to use ailerons when she's turning left. The flight was normal except for the chop, which actually made me airsick! On the way back we were getting 65 kts at cruise power due to the wind. The landing was the best part.

We set up for landing on 36 and this was where my new CFI earned my trust. He brought her in slipped into the wind and held it off nice and slow. He even planned for some turbulence over a ridge with trees in which we dropped about 75 feet . He began to get the right wheel (upwind) down first and then maintained control until both were on the ground and we used ailerons for wind and exited at the middle taxiway. This was a great flight and certainly one to remember. I logged 1.2hrs that day.
